Are you going with the flow of life? Or do things seem like they are not happening fast enough. Do you want something specific to happen in your life and it doesn’t seem to be working so you keep trying different ways to make it happen. When this happens are we trying to force something that isn’t meant to happen either at this moment or ever to be? Maybe we don’t know at this time what is meant for us or maybe it is time for a rest.
When you are flowing with life life flows and everything just falls into place. This is my experience. When you are trying to make things happen things are much more difficult and it seems to take much more effort and patience to get where we think we are heading.
What to do when we are forcing life to happen
When you are trying to force life to happen according to your wants and beliefs and this isn’t the path to take for you. Life can seem to be a struggle. You can almost feel yourself trying to force what you want to happen and it doesn’t seem to want you to get there. Here is how to proceed.
1. Take a rest from the push.
This is a time to step back and review where you are heading. It may just be that you need a break or a rest. The timing may just be off. There may even be better ways to get there that don’t include the struggle.
2. Meditate
I meditate daily. Meditation for me is one of the best ways for me to gain and keep clarity.
3. Journal your thoughts
Journaling is a great way to become clearer in your thoughts. Don’t edit your journaling either. Just write whatever is on your mind. Sometimes this can give you answers for what to do next.
4. Pray for the answers
Prayer is awesome. I pray all day. Sometimes I pray for others, sometimes to say thanks, and sometimes to get the answers to all of my questions. When you pray for answers, be prepared to get them. Sometimes they will come in way you least expect them too so pay attention.
Where am I going with this?
Well above are a few ways to gain clarity if you find you are struggling to move forward in life. Also this I mean not just in the how to move forward in a career sense but in every sense. These processes help you gain clarity and move forward in any area of your life. I recommend these practices daily as helpful tools to stay in the flow of life and to bring you back into the flow.
Sometimes we all just need to have more patience as well. All will be as it must be whether we fight it or not. It is up to us how we progress through life. We either go through flowing smoothly or we put up a fight and create our own struggles. The choice is ours.

Great tips. We often forget that some things happen on God/the Universe’s time, not ours! And if they were meant to be, then they will be!

This is so true.
